Job Summary
- To track the company’s financial performance against set targets and plans, analyze business performance and market conditions to create forecasts, and help Senior Management make tactical and strategic decisions by providing periodic reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Determine cost of operations through established standard costs; collect operational data.
- Evaluate financial performance by analyzing and comparing actual results with plans and forecasts.
- Guide cost management by ensuring adherence, by all personnel, to established policies and procedures;
- provide ongoing analyses of trends and forecasts of economic and financial events that impact the company’s business.
- Protect operations by keeping financial information confidential.
- Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing relevant publications.
- Collect data from relevant sources and analyze and interpret them to improve business practices.
- Provide data for and prepare management information reports and documents.
- Develop data analytics and other tools that optimize the efficiency and quality of information processing.
- Improve financial results through timely exceptional reporting.
- Perform necessary reconciliations – bank, cash, etc.
- Maintain the financial database by entering, verifying, and backing up data.

Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field from a reputable university.
- ACA or ACCA or CFA Certification is an added advantage.
- Excel and financial Modeling
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in financial planning & analysis, investment banking or other related fields.

Job Title: Drilling Engineer
Location: Lagos, Nigeria

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare wells data sheet and carry out wells offset reviews.
- Carry out wells detailed design including casing design, mud engineering, hydraulics modelling.
- Identify and evaluate appropriate offset wells.
- Monitor well costs daily. Prepare and update depth vs days and depth vs cost curves.
- Ensure final well costs in Company Wells Reporting database such as Open Wells
- Attend rig calls. Provides technical support on daily drilling operations.
- Provide full-time engineering support to assigned drilling rig(s). Monitor daily morning report and facilitate data error corrections and coding.
- Know and follow the Global Drilling Community Standards and SOP’s.
- Write all wells Basis of Design documents ensuring compliance to all Company policies.
- Prepare wells detailed drilling procedures.
- Develop wells AFEs and Support the upkeep of the wellcost estimating and tracking system.
- Liaise with specialist contractors and suppliers, such as cement companies or suppliers of drilling fluids.
- Prepare an End of Well report for all assigned wells.

Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering discipline. A master’s degree will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 7+ years of relevant work experience in Well Engineering with an Operator.
- Good knowledge in the use of industry recognized Well Engineering software such as Wellcalt, Stress Check, Drilling Office, Well Plan, Compass
- Must be able work in a multicultural environment.
- Willing to travel to the rig location to observe operations on an as-needed basis.

Job Title: Well Intervention Engineer

Job Summary
- The well Intervention Engineer will focus on optimizing, design, planning, the production of hydrocarbons from wells and collaborate with Project Manager, reservoir engineers, Logistic Coordinator and various technical specialists to maximize the efficiency of the workover operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Well Design and Planning:
- Collaborate with geologists, reservoir engineers, and other stakeholders to design well trajectories and plans.
- Develop drilling programs considering geological formations, wellbore stability, and drilling fluid requirements.
- Well Intervention and Drilling Operations:
- Plan and execute well intervention operations, such as workovers, completions, and stimulation treatments.
- Ident Oversee drilling operations to ensure they adhere to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
- Monitor drilling parameters, such as mud weight, rate of penetration, and wellbore stability, to optimize drilling efficiency.
- identify and solve well performance issues, including production decline and equipment failures.
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations governing drilling and intervention activities.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of drilling and intervention activities, including daily reports, equipment specifications, and performance metrics.
- Prepare and submit reports to management, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders as required.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Stay abreast of industry developments, technological advancements, and best practices to continuously improve drilling and intervention processes.
- Equipment Selection and Procurement:
- Select appropriate drilling and intervention equipment, including drill bits, casing, tubing, and downhole tools.
- Work with vendors to procure necessary equipment and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance with industry standards.
- Risk Management:
- Assess and manage risks associated with drilling and well intervention activities, including well control, blowouts, and environmental impacts.
- Implement measures to mitigate risks and ensure the safety of personnel and assets.
- Data Analysis:
- Analyze well data, including drilling logs, pressure tests, and production data, to optimize well performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Cost Control:
- Monitor and control drilling and intervention costs, staying within budgetary constraints while maintaining operational efficiency.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Well service operations (eg slickline, eline, rod jobs, Xmas tree) experience required.
- Experienced in Artificial lift systems (ESP’s & Beam Pump)
- IWCF Well Control or Well Interventions Certificate (supervisor level)
- Background in Well Intervention Engineering or Completions preferred
- Engineering or Science degree preferred
- Experienced in well integrity management.
- Maximo maintenance management systems competence
- Control of Work systems competence (eg ISSOW or equivalent)
