American Fulbright Scholarship 2023 Coverage and Benefits:

U.S Fullbright Program’s Policy:

Eligibility Criteria for U.S Fullbright Scholarships 2023

• You can apply for fulbright US scholarship if you belong from US friendly countries and with that you also have to clear English language requirements to apply for this American scholarship whereas you will also be required to clear academic requirements of US fulbirght scholarship.
• US fulbright scholarship applicants are bound to show a sound state of Physical and mental health through their health certification and records of their health examination report.
• Individuals employed by the U.S Public, Private Organizations, or at Department of State are not eligible to be an applicant for this Fullbright Scholar program and families of such individuals are also ineligible unless the contract between the interested applicant and the organization has been terminated for over a year.
• If you have been a member of the U.S Armed Forces and your qualification is at par with the other applicants then you will have a better chance of receiving the grant.

U.S Fullbright Program-specific Requirments:

1. Degree: All interested applicant has to go through the details given on US Universities’ websites which require a particular degree, either a Ph.D. or Master’s degree has been specified.

2. Candidates for Early Career and Post-doctoral: Applicants are required to apply only if they can meet their degree requirements by 1 February and if this is not deemed possible then they are mandated to notify expected date of completion.

3. Experience as a Teacher: Availability of all US related programs at post-secondary level – variable in terms to experience level and disciple requirements.

4. Language: English is generally considered appropriate for teaching-related programs however, this type of project is main determinant of this requirement, and therefore having a strong grip on foreign languages may be necessary.

Fulbright Scholarship Application Duration and Closing Date

Fulbright Scholarships for the 2024-2025 intake are now open for applications between April 1, 2023, to October 11, 2023 and timeline of results and further steps are available below:

DEADLINE: Fulbright Scholarship Application Deadline is October 11, 2023.

The details regarding the duration and the result of the Fulbright program 2024 are mentioned below.

Deadline in October 2023:

IIE reviews completed applications for eligibility and the applicants are immediately notified of any specified content missed in their application so that they can provide the related information and documents.

October to November 2023:

applications are thoroughly reviewed by discipline and the Peer Review Committee then decides if an applicant is eligible for the award in a particular country.

December 2023:

E-mail is sent to applicants, declaring the status of their application. If due to certain circumstances, you have had to change your main email address from the one you had stated in your application then you should inform the IEE of your active email id.

January to June 2024:

The selected candidates are then sent to the J. William Fulbright Scholarship Board for a more precise evaluation. Then the IIE notifies the final applicants through the e mail of their selection for the Fulbright grant/award.

June onward 2024:

The Fulbright scholarship grant details are then finalized and an orientation like ceremony may also be held for the selected applicants to receive their grant.
