Npower Latest News 2025: FG Lifts Npower Suspension begin Payment of Backlog

Npower Latest News 2025 – The federal government is ready to kick off N-Power payments again after lifting the suspension, so they’ll be sorting out that backlog pretty soon. The Minister of State for Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction just announced it!

According to the Minister, the suspension on all social investment programs including the NPower program has been lifted. He stated that the Npower beneficiaries bills will be settled and the program would continue.

Grants to vulnerable groups and other NSIPA Programmes will be restored in better forms, he added.

Recall that President Tinubu had earlier suspended the Npower and other NSIP program due to misappropriation of funds by the managers.

With the embargo lifted, the National Social Investment Programme, encompassing Npower, Conditional Cash Transfer, Government Enterprise and Empowerment Programme, and Homegrown School Feeding Programme, can now resume disbursements to its beneficiaries.

This breakthrough provides much-needed relief to those who have been adversely affected by the payment disruptions.
